The United States Air Force Academy is host to
many educational, inspirational and beautiful sites. The Academy
encompasses 18,000 prime Colorado acres situated at the base of
the Rocky Mountains in Colorado Springs.

Traveling from Denver you may enter through the North Gate,
Exit 156B on Interstate 25, and from the south 14 miles north of
downtown Colorado Springs, Exit 150 on Interstate 25.

Air Force Academy Cadet Chapel
The
Cadet Chapel is open to visitors 9 am to 5 pm Monday - Saturday
and from 1 pm - 5 pm on Sunday. Visitors may attend worship
services. The Cadet Chapel provides worship services for
Protestant, Catholic, Jewish, Buddhist and Muslim.

The Cadet Chapel is a must see while visiting Colorado Springs.
The Chapel is a unique and magnificently beautiful
architectural design, constructed of glass, metal and concrete.
It's seventeen spires ascend 150 feet into the blue Colorado
sky.
The sun radiates through the multi-colored stained glass
windows, illuminating the chapel interior with soft hues
of streaming colors, creating an atmosphere of peaceful
inspiration.
Air Force Academy Visitor Rules & Regulations
All visitors will be required to show their driver’s license
to the guard and expect to have their vehicle inspected and/or
other random security measures prior to entering the Academy.
Visitors who refuse to comply with security measures will not be
allowed access to the base.
Not Permitted: Backpacks or large bags in the Visitor
Center, the paved nature trail, or the Cadet Chapel.
