Directions to the Garden of the Gods.
From the North to Garden of the Gods. Take I25 South from Denver to Garden of the Gods Road, exit 146. Turn right and follow Garden of the Gods Road to 30th Street, make a left and follow to the Park entrance on the right, the visitors center on the left; approximately 60 minutes

From the South, I25 to exit 143 turn left follow to Mesa Road, turn left to Fontmore to 30th turn right.

The Gift shops at the Garden of the Gods were voted the best in Colorado Springs. They specialize in custom made items and a wide variety of souvenirs.

The Garden of the Gods Cafe with both indoor and outdoor facilities, overlooks the breathtaking view of the famous "Kissing Camels" and Pikes Peak. Enjoy lunch or just a snack.

Garden of the Gods Rules & Regulations
 

Weddings: It is free to hold your wedding ceremony
in the Park; yet you are required to fill out a City of Colorado Springs 'minor event' form at the City of Colorado Springs Parks and Recreation Office on Recreation Way or call 719-385-5941

 

Picnics: The park provides two uncovered picnic areas; Scotsman Picnic Area with 11 picnic tables; and the South Spring Canyon Picnic Area with 13  picnic tables. No reservations are required, the picnic areas are on a first come first serve basis. You will find charcoal Bar-B-Q
Grills or you can also bring a propane grill.

Dogs: All dogs have to be on a 6-foot leash. The park also provides one designated unleashed area. This area is south of Gateway Road, West of 30th Street, and east of Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site.
You are responsible to clean up after your dogs.

Horseback Riding: Guided horseback rides contact Academy Riding Stables at 719-633-5667.
You can park your private horse trailers at South Spring Canyon Picnic area. Open horseback riding trail maps are available at the Visitors Center.

Biking: There are designated biking trails that you will be sharing with the equestrians and pedestrians. All the one way paved roads provide bike lanes. Be cautious and courteous.

Rock Climbing: You must first register at the Visitors Center. Technical Climbing of a party of two or more is permitted in designated areas only with the proper climbing equipment being mandatory.

Trails & Hiking: 15 miles of trails for your fun filled adventure. There are Free color trail maps available at the visitors center information desk.
